What you get for each market

A market is one country and one language for your website. For each one, Market Gap Radar brings the findings into one prioritized plan, so you can see which pages need work and what to do next.

  • Searches where competitors rank in Google’s top 20 and your site doesn’t, or ranks lower.
  • Pages to create or improve, ranked by monthly searches, difficulty and estimated traffic.
  • An editable content draft or a developer brief for each piece of work.
  • Technical checks of your market page next to your competitors’ pages, with evidence.
  • Position changes after you mark a piece of work as done.
01

Set up a market: country, language, competitors

Choose your website, the country, the language and the page that serves that market, such as /de/. Add the product or service groups you sell there so the results stay on topic; typos are fine.

Add up to five competitors in your target market. If you already track competitors for AI answers in OLAB Assist, you can reuse them, but you don’t need them to start.

02

Searches where competitors appear and you don’t

Keyword data comes from our search-data provider for the country and language you chose. You see searches where a competitor ranks in Google’s top 20 and your site doesn’t, or ranks lower, with monthly searches, difficulty, intent and a 12-month trend.

Searches unrelated to your business are set aside, and sensitive categories such as gambling stay hidden unless you switch them on. Searches that one page could answer are grouped into topics, and topic research finds searches and questions for anything you type.

03

The competitor pages that rank

For each search you see the competitor URL that ranks and an estimate of the visits it gets. Open any search to see Google’s current top 10 in that market and what else appears on the page, such as an AI Overview or related questions.

This shows where competitors are found. It doesn’t prove why they rank there: rankings depend on many factors that no one outside Google can see.

04

Prioritized work, page by page

Findings become a list of work, highest value first: a new page for a topic you don’t cover yet, or an existing page to improve for searches where you’re behind.

For each item you get an editable content draft in the market’s language, built from your own site’s information (title, description, headings and FAQ), or a developer brief with code. Facts we can’t know, such as prices, are marked for you to fill in.

05

Technical blockers, with evidence

Your market page and each competitor’s page go through the same technical checks: search engine and AI crawler access, indexing directives, titles and descriptions, structured data and readable content. Checks a competitor passes and you don’t are listed with the evidence and the fix.

Technical readiness is a separate signal from search visibility. Fixing a failed check removes a possible obstacle; it isn’t a reason for a ranking on its own.

06

Measured after you make a change

Mark a piece of work as done and use Verify: we check that the page loads, can be indexed and uses the target search in its title or main heading. After the next keyword update, you see the positions before and after.

Connect Google Search Console to add your website’s queries, clicks, impressions and average position. Competitor rankings and search volumes come from our search-data provider; Search Console doesn’t show competitor data.

Questions

Can I use Market Gap Radar without another OLAB Assist plan?

Yes. You can buy it on its own, with one website. If you already have Starter, Growth or Agency, you can add it to your plan at 10% off instead.

What counts as a market?

One country and one language, for example Germany in German or Switzerland in French. Each market has its own keyword data, competitors and market page.

Do I need to connect Google Search Console?

No. Everything works without it. Connecting it adds your own clicks, impressions and average position next to the estimates.

Does it make changes to my website?

No. It only reads public pages. You or your developer make the changes, using the drafts and briefs. If you’d like someone to do the work, Olasi Works, our partner agency, can send you a quote.

How often are results updated?

During the trial, keyword data is pulled once per market. After the first payment it’s refreshed automatically every week, and you can update it yourself up to 4 times every 30 days. Technical checks run whenever you start them.

Does it guarantee rankings or AI recommendations?

No. It shows where competitors are found and what you can improve. No tool can guarantee rankings, AI recommendations or sales.
